Advancing language and education research across three world languages
International Journal of Research in Language and Education (IJRLE) is a fully open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes original scholarship in English, Chinese, and Arabic. We bring together researchers, educators, and practitioners working at the intersection of language and learning — from classrooms and assessment to translation and comparative linguistics.
Now welcoming submissions
IJRLE invites original research, reviews, and perspective articles in English, Chinese, and Arabic across language and education. Fully open access, with no charges to authors.
Aims & Scope
IJRLE provides an international, multilingual platform for rigorous, ethically sound research that improves the understanding and practice of language and education. The journal welcomes empirical studies, theoretical contributions, and well-argued perspectives that speak to both scholarly and educational communities. In keeping with the global Sustainable Development agenda, we place particular value on work that advances quality, equitable, and inclusive education.
The journal is committed to bridging linguistic and regional divides in scholarly communication. By publishing in three major world languages, IJRLE makes research accessible to wider academic and professional audiences and amplifies scholarship that is too often confined by language barriers.
Subject areas
Published in three languages
